Pakistan appoints Matthew Hayden and Philander as head coaches for T20 World Cup

It has been reported from Lahore that former Australia player and Test opener batsman Matthew Hayden and former South African fast bowler Vernon Philander have been appointed by Pakistan as their head coach. Pakistan has appointed Hayden and Philander as the coach of their respective team for the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in UAE.

Giving information, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that they had to take this step after the sudden resignation of Misbah-ul-Haq who was the chief batting coach and Waqar Younis who was the head bowling coach.

When both resigned from their posts, exactly a week after that they appointed new bowler and batsman coach.

This announcement was made by the President of Pakistan Cricket Board, Rameez Raja, who has just been elected to the Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. newly elected.

Rameez Raja further said that he feels that Pakistan needs a new direction and for this we need to give a new direction to the Pakistan team, for this he called Matthew Hayden of Australia and Vernon Philander of South Africa. Appointed the coach of his team Pakistan.

Giving further information, the Pakistan cricket team said that they have to make their team such that they can win in every possible situation by giving a fierce competition to the team in front.

It is our goal to give the best option to the Pakistan cricket team. And we will try that after this decision of ours, the performance of Pakistan cricket team can be improved.

Pakistan Cricket Board appointed former Test spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and all-rounder Abdul Razzaq as interim coaches for its players at the time Pakistan’s home match series against New Zealand was going on.

Rameez Raja also gave information saying that misbah-ul-haq and waqar younis left their jobs midway but their contract was still 1 year left and we had to find a new coach in the middle so we thought we should find the best We should find a coach who can help give a new direction to our team.
