Sourav Ganguly, who has been a former captain, former player of the Indian cricket team, and at present is also the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. He was discharged from the hospital just after 4 days on he was admitted to. And this statement came out that they neither have the symptoms of COVID-19 nor have been found in the symptoms of omicron. But now after this, he will have to stay in isolation for 2 weeks.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was also admitted to the hospital under Precautionary Measurement to detect the symptoms of Omicron variant, but he has been discharged after a complete checkup saying that he has been discharged. He is completely healthy and no virus symptoms are visible in him. The authority told him that he would now have to stay in isolation at his home for two weeks. But even at home, there will be a whole team of 3 doctors for them, which will help in keeping them healthy in any situation.

We had discharged Sourav Ganguly on Friday afternoon, but now he will also have to remain in isolation for two weeks, and Sourav will be kept completely under the observation of doctors. After this, the next stage of treatment will come, about which will be decided only then. The hospital official gave this information to the reporter of PTI.

Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital and was admitted on Monday. And the reason for this was told that precocious measurements are being taken. That is why his RT-PCR test is being done. When his COVID-19 positive came, only after that there was a stir in the cricket world.

But in the present time, he is completely healthy and is in stable condition. Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Sautik Panda have kept him under their observation, this information was given by Dr. Rupali Basu, Managing Director, and CEO of the hospital.

During this time i.e. from Monday to Friday, Sourav Ganguly was given monoclonal antibody cocktail therapy. And this therapy was given to him immediately after admission. He has been hospitalized twice in the same year and had to undergo emergency angioplasty for some reason related to heart disease.

It should be noted that Snehasish Ganguly, the elder brother of Sourav Ganguly was also found to be COVID-19 positive this year due to the virus of COVID-19.

The BCCI President being found to be COVID-19 positive also raises a lot of questions on the internal administration of BCCI, due to which it is difficult to say where the shortfall has been.

The Test series of India and South Africa is yet to come and in the meantime, such news is not good for both the team and the management.
